It is our honor to present Mr. Joseph Pereira - Regional Head of CRE & OPS at Zurich Financial to be our guest mentor in the next Young Leaders Breakfast to share his views and tips for younger members in the industry. Joseph is responsible for the leadership and management of Zurich's corporate real estate and operations in Asia Pacific, Africa, the Middle-East and Oceania.

Joseph's career has spanned and integrated the practice of Architecture, Project Management, Operations, Finance, and Asset Management into a comprehensive Corporate Real Estate Programme supporting multinational businesses and financial institutions across the globe.

2011 Nov 30, Christmas Party: Believers vs Non-Believers - Alternative Workplace Strategies

This workplace forum will take place in conjunction with an early Christmas party for members and friends of CoreNet. An interactive debate session will be held between believers and non-believers of Alternative Workplace (AWS).

John Bowden is Cisco Systems APJ and India Manager for Workplace Design and Development. He focuses on researching the way Cisco employees do their work and in building new workplace solutions that make their workplaces space-effective and the people productive. John has been in Hong Kong for more than 4 decades and has built offices across the region, with Cisco’s ongoing Bangalore Campus of 10 buildings and over 2 million square feet as a primary focus for effective workplace development.

Mark Bernard is Head for the HK commercial team in Knight Frank and has held Senior Executive positions over the last 25 years with international property firms across Asia Pacific & Australia. He is a well known expert in tenant representation, lease restructuring as well as large brokerage transactions and successfully represented some major Banks & International Firms expand within this region.

Andrew Watt is a corporate Real Estate professional with over 20 years experience in both Asia Pacific and UK. Andrew has been a Director within Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES) at Barclays Capital for 14 years where he has led the significant expansion of CRES in Asia from 230k sq ft in 12 countries to circa 1.3M sq ft, supporting the growth of the Asia Business. Whilst based in Hong Kong he has also performed the role of Chief Operating Officer and held responsibility for Security and Travel.

Open bar and canapés is served throughout the evening and numbers are strictly limited to 60 people.
